The design of innovative materials is one of measure for driving industry to place the sustainable basis of new technology in order to enhance the wealth and well-being of society. The last half century has realized a vital development in the area of high-tech materials ranging from various elements and composites, emerged through synthetic chemistry and often drawing motivation from the nature. The idea of an intelligent material imagines added values in terms of functionality built into the materials structure desirable to response the defined conditions. The previous two decades has emerged to understand the extraordinary behavior and properties of engineered nanostructured materials.

As the world is entering a phase of realization to mend ways to build a climate-neutral, healthy, and sustainable environment all around and many prominent steps are taken to achieve the goal of net-zero. The advancement of materials used for energy and production purposes is being transformed and developed in ways that will ensure sustainable development without harming of the ecology. One such strong action brought is the use of hydrogen energy towards climate neutrality. Hydrogen is now considered a very important product for aiming at zero waste as it can make it possible to remove fossil fuels usage and will play a very important role in the energy transformation of the world to sustainable development goals. It is very important to reduce the emission of carbon from industries and vehicles and at the same time give longer energy storage. As the European Deal and the United Nations move forward for attaining net-zero goals with the introduction of clean hydrogen energy and its uses have been the showstopper for various conversions in various sectors which will ensure reaching global sustainability.

Remnant polarization of exhibited loops observed to decrease with increasing temperature. PE data is used to estimate the electrocaloric properties. Maximum entropy change, full width at half maximum, relative cooling power is obtained from theoretical calculations.

Mass Healthcare is the prominent field and it must be noted that over the last couple of decades, the entire healthcare industry has digitized health care landscape. Digitalization conveyed moment access to data, made the sharing of data simpler among social insurance experts and enhanced the efficiencies of patient results. Automation has substantially changed the medicinal services industry and made it more savvy for associations to run everyday tasks. Automation is the utilization of data innovation that lessens the requirement for human work in the making of results. The present mechanization advances are equipped for significantly more than human managers. For example, a decrease of managerial outstanding tasks at hand, enhancement of the consistency of patient consideration, end of waste, improvement of data trade, investigation of information, and checking of patients would all be able to be streamlined with information mechanization. There might be a piece of legitimacy to this stress; some social insurance clients essentially want to manage a human when they make arrangements or demand data.

Bioelectronics embodies the exploitation of biological or biologically-inspired molecules as an integral part of an electronic devices and biosensors are the analytical embodiment of this art. The world market for biosensors, in 2009, was just under US$13 billion, with nearly nine tenths of that still accounted for by glucose measurement. This extraordinary dominance by a single biosensor type is driven by the exceptional needs of people with diabetes combined with the success of biosensors in meeting their demands for an appropriate product. The overall in vitro diagnostics market is currently considered to be worth around $40 billion, while recent estimates suggest that the theranostics (companion diagnostics) market is potentially worth a staggering $72 billion. Diabetes is the fastest growing chronic disease in the World, with Asia now home to four of the five largest diabetic populations and 2% of the World‘s population afflicted. Heart disease and stroke kill around 17 million people each year, accounting for one-third of all deaths globally.

In recent years, molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) have attracted much attention due to many of its potential applications including sensors, separation, catalysis, drug delivery and waste management. To prepare MIPs, functional monomers initially self-assemble around the template molecule via interaction between functional groups on both the template and the monomers. The self-assembled functional monomers are subsequently cross-linked in the presence of cross-linkers. Thereafter, the template molecules are removed from the MIPs, thereby leaving behind cavities/imprinted-structures that can specifically recognize and rebind with the template molecules, an analogy to the “key to lock” model. Hence, have the ability to mimic biological functions through their three-dimensional cavities of specific size, shape, and functionality for mimetic recognition of target molecules and have already shown valuable applications in the separation and recognition of glucose, cholesterol, hemoglobin, peptides, proteins, antibody, and double-stranded deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA).

It is now commonly acknowledged that G-rich polynucleotide sites can fold into G-quadruplex (G4) structures in vivo. In terms of molecular programming, the G4-folding propensity can be regarded as a build-in nucleic acid function with multiple implications for genomic regulation. Here we review several important advances in the studies of G4 self-assemblies in genomic context. We discuss prerequisites and consequences of G4 formation upon transcription or replication and analyze recent data on G4-dependent genomic rearrangements, including translocation and recombination. Hypothetical mechanisms of those G4-dependent rearrangements suggest self-association of G-rich sites. We outline the general molecular basis for possible self-association pathways, i.e., formation of intermolecular G4 assemblies or interquadruplex stacking. Intermolecular G4s and multimeric G4 stacks attract widespread interest as scaffolds for the development of complex junctions in DNA nanotechnology and have prospects in aptamer design, but in this review we focus on fundamental aspects of such higher-order G4 assemblies.

In this study, the bipolar resistive switching behavior of Pulsed Laser Deposited Zn1-xMgxO (x= 0, 0.1) thin films in Ag/Zn1-XMgxO/Cu structure has been investigated. The XRD pattern of Zn1-XMgxO exhibits the presence of (002) and (103) reflection. The cross-sectional field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) studies were further carried out to examine the thickness of the film. In order to analyze the bipolar resistive switching behavior of the Zn1-xMgxO thin films, an I-V measurement was performed at room temperature. The memory cell Ag/Zn0.9Mg0.1O/Cu exhibits set voltage (ON state) at 2.57V and reset voltage (OFF state) at -3.15 V, excellent OFF to ON resistance ratio (~10 5 ) for 200 DC sweep cycles and exhibits good retention (>10 3 s). The physical mechanism responsible for exhibiting switching behavior in the Zn1-xMgxO thin films was explained by formation and rupture of the nano-scale conduction filament due to Oxygen vacancies. Ohmic conduction and Poole-Frenkel emission are responsible for current conduction in Low Resistance State (LRS) and High Resistance State (HRS) regions respectively. Enhanced switching behavior is observed by substitution of Mg in ZnO thin film. Nonvolatile two resistance states of the Zn1-XMgxO thin film could prove useful in future power efficient memory devices.

Peer reviewed publications are essential in demonstrating valuable research to fellow academics, funding agencies, as well as moving important scientific concepts into areas that ultimately benefit our global society. Both theoretical and applied research are vital scientific pursuits, therefore, both must be pursued with equal vigor. In pursuing a research path researchers should consider the entire scope of their audience. Granted, most frequently, the readers are other academics, students, and government research and funding agencies; generally people whose source of income is not tied to producing a commercial product. On the other hand, there is a significant audience that reviews the scientific literature scouting for product ideas and solutions to problems they may encounter in producing a product or service.
