Superconducting State Parameters Of Binary Metallic Glasses
Advanced Materials Letters,
2012, Volume 3, Issue 4, Pages 321-329
AbstractWell known Ashcroft’s empty core (EMC) model potential is used to study the theoretical investigation of the superconducting state parameters (SSP) viz. electron-phonon coupling strength, Coulomb pseudopotential, transition temperature, isotope effect exponent and effective interaction strength of some binary metallic glasses. More advanced screening function due to Farid et al. (F) has been employed to include the exchange and correlation effect on the aforesaid properties. The present results are found in qualitative agreement with other such earlier reported data available in the literature, which confirm the superconducting phase in the binary metallic glasses.
