Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari, the Director of the Institute of Advanced Materials, IAAM (Sweden), is a distinguished scientist and technocrat entrepreneur. He has been dedicated to working actively in the field of Materials Research, Translational Innovation, and Sustainability for cutting-edge know-how. In his headship, the Institute of Advanced Materials, IAAM, offers a truly comprehensive learning program for students, researchers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and professionals from academia and industry to promote multi-inter-trans-disciplinary research, innovation, and technology in the advancement of materials. Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari is affiliated as a high-end professor, evaluator, and expert with several organisations. He has taken a number of adjunct and honorary professor titles since 2009. Just after completing his doctorate degree from the University of Allahabad, he joined the National Physical Laboratory, India, as a young scientist. Later, he moved to the University of Wisconsin, USA, for postdoctoral research.
Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari is the recipient of many prestigious fellowships including Marie Curie, The European Commission; The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Regular and Bridge Fellows, National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) Postdoctoral Fellow, Japan; SI, INSA, CSIR, etc. Likewise, he is the recipient of various recognitions and awards for his notable contributions to the fields of advanced materials, nanoscience, and nanotechnology.
Dr. Tiwari has been actively involved in translational research for building state-of-the-art technological systems to handle key challenges in medical, security, energy, and environmental issues realized by the integration of artificial intelligence and smart strategies.
Dr. Tiwari is the recipient of many prestigious fellowships including Marie Curie, The European Commission; JSPS Regular and Bridge Fellow, NIMS Postdoctoral Fellow, Japan; SI, etc. He is also the recipient of several recognitions and awards for his notable contributions to advanced materials, nanoscience, and nanotechnology. Dr. Tiwari has published around 300 articles and has edited/ authored around 50 books on advanced materials and nanotechnology. He was the Guest Editor of the Special issue '2D Materials in Biosensors & Bioelectronics', Biosensors & Bioelectronics, a principal leading journal in the field published by Elsevier; Series Editor of the Advanced Materials and Advanced Nanomaterials. He acts as an Executive Chair of the Advanced Materials Congress organized by the International Association of Advanced Materials, IAAM in Europe, Asia, the USA, and Australia with the annual participation of over 2000+ delegates from 100+ countries.
Prof. Tiwari serves as a scientific evaluator, member of experts in several panels and committees to various governmental and non-governmental agencies; member of the PhD committee, and has been invited for 100+ plenary, keynote, and invited lectures in the international conferences. Currently, Dr. Tiwari is involved mainly in the technological developments and translational research of the range of nanotechnology-enabled tools, technological breakthroughs, key processes, new products designed to transform energy, IT automation, security, and mass medicine. A technocrat entrepreneur, he founded the group of companies with the ideology of “Commitment to Excellence.”
