Now a day, cellulose nonmaterial’s and its application advance extraordinary fascination in both industrial and academic research fields. This is owing to its special behaviors including advanced mechanical behaviors, amazing surface area, abundant hydroxyl groups for adjustment, and benign environmental properties. This review was focused on the study of recent preparation techniques of nanocellulose from lignocellulosic biomass and its fundamental applications in environmental and energy related areas.
