The core objective of this review work is to through light on the probable areas and prospects of integration of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) dependent sensing and actuating devices with using the wide-ranging properties of luminescent substances, which can be able to symbolize a new species of genetically engineered sensing and actuating devices. This work discusses about the various visible features and advantages with the applications of such genetically engineered micro-organisms/systems as environmentally friendly bio-correspondents. In this work the various fabrication technique for luminescence material-based semiconductors are discussed, which are similar to the fabrication of MEMS devices.
